This list is compiled on the basis of intermediaries who have passed compliance checking procedures undertaken by Professional Passport or FCSA.

It is entirely your decision on the route you decide to take and if you are unsure on any point we would encourage you to seek independent advice before you engage through any Umbrella. Alderwood does not endorse the benefits of operating through an Umbrella or encourage Alderwood contractors to operate via any particular provider listed on this page. This list only contains the names of Umbrella providers; If you choose to use the services of a third party (such as a composite company supplier or managed services company or any other legal or tax structure) to establish a company through which you provide your services, any information supplied by Alderwood about such third parties is provided on an impartial basis. Alderwood cannot give any guarantee concerning the quality of the advice and/or documentation provided by such third parties and it is your responsibility to ensure that any company established complies with all current relevant legislation. Alderwood will not be liable for any losses, costs, claims, expenses, penalties or other liabilities incurred by that company, including those which arise as a result of your use of the services of such third parties.

The list of companies displayed on this page is neither permanent nor exhaustive. Alderwood reserves the right to remove entities from the list displayed on this website should any of the providers fail to satisfy compliance checking procedures at any time. If an Umbrella provider listed fails a compliance check, we may ask you to provide your services through an alternative provider.

Compliance requirements in this area are very complex and best practice is constantly changing. You should therefore be aware that compliance checking is not intended to be, and cannot be, a comprehensive audit on which you, or any third parties can rely. Compliance checking does not replace the need for you to carry out your own checks using professional advisors. Our compliance checks will only cover organisations based in the United Kingdom (it is not possible, within any reasonable fee, to check compliance by companies based and/or operating and/or providing certain services outside the United Kingdom as they will be subject to local legislation and compliance regulations (as well as some specific and complex UK regulations which our compliance checking cannot cover).

The compliance checking of the Umbrella providers on this list is conducted by Professional Passport or FCSA and it is therefore not equivalent to a full audit. However intermediaries who pass the compliance checking of these organisations will be deemed to have satisfied our compliance checking (albeit please note that Professional Passport and FCSA are not part of Alderwood and as such Alderwood does not accept or assume responsibility for any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, losses, loss of profit, costs, expenses or any other consequences, whether direct or indirect, arising from reliance upon any services provided by either entity).
